Out Of this Rock is Bastian Swain and friends.  The trilogy 'The art of going insane' is currently in production. OOTR is looking for a male vocalist (or two) to put voice to my songs....  This trilogy has been in the making since 2008...

In the meantime, and as a taster of what's to come, I have just released an album containing all the instrumental songs from this trilogy and added a few more that stand on their own without voice or lyrics. I call it Out Of This Rock : The mental instrumentals. It's a lovely work that hints to what's to come.

Currently looking for a versatile MALE vocalist for my project "Out Of This Rock".

Probably no money, hopefully no fame, but a lot of fun creating a trilogy of albums with amazing music. Get in touch if you have a decent voice and you enjoy singing for the sake of singing...

Ideally you are based in Edinburgh or nearby (I'm based in Colinton/Juniper Green). I like the idea of working on completing these songs 'face to face' in my studio and establish a good musical connection with the person who is going to sing these three albums. The songs are ready to be sung (with melody and lyrics), but my voice is terrible, hence I need to 'outsource'.  

For reference, I like the singing and style of bands such as Tears For Fears, Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Waterboys, Queen, Velvet Underground, Nick Cave, and Marylin Manson amongst many, many others....
