Bastian, the clumsy magician
Along with music, I always had an interest in magic and illusions since very early in my life. I have always been a hobbyist, doing magic for my friends, family and nowadays (quite often) for my friends' and colleagues' kids.
In December 2022, aged 49, I decided to take this side a bit more seriously and became part of the Edinburgh Magic Circle, of which I am very proud. My magic, just like my music and art, has grown isolated from any professional circles until now, and I think this makes it quite unique. As I have no hand dexterity (I'm clumsy!), I have to resort to 'real' magic (<wink, wink>) and good entertainment.
If you are reading these lines, it is likely that you know me, or that you got my business card from me or from one of my friends. You will know I'm personable and trustworthy, and I'm sure you will enjoy giving me a try as your amateur local magician. I'm keeping this small, as I do not want to step on the shoes of professional magicians. I'm only dipping my toes and seeing if this is worth turning into a business one day in the future. Wouldn't that be nice?
